Directions for Use:

  • Prepare the closed suctioning system, machine, sterile gloves, and mask. Ensure equipment is functional.
  • Check if the catheter, tubes, and negative pressure valves are intact.
  • Evaluate patient's consciousness and respiratory status to determine suctioning need.
  • Connect the catheter to the suction port securely.
  • Put on sterile gear and clean the patient's airway of foreign matter.
  • Insert the catheter (approx. 25-30cm) until resistance, then withdraw 1-2cm.
  • Press the valve while withdrawing in a spiral motion (max 15 seconds).

Important Cautions:

  • Single-use only. Do not reuse or use if expired.
  • Only for use by trained medical/nursing staff.
  • Do not use if packaging is compromised.
  • Ensure sterile technique is maintained throughout.
