Nasogastric (NG) tubes: A nasogastric (NG) tube is a thin tube that goes in through patient nose and down patient throat into the stomach. Patient might have this if they need feeding for 2 to 4 weeks.
Enteral nutrition: Means the patient has a liquid feed through a tube into the stomach or small bowel. They might take all food this way or supplement normal eating.
